Only a strong government can guarantee the liberty of Mongolian person

Oct 13, 2014

To be free, man needs a state. State legitimizes human freedom. Legitimized freedom can become liberty. Freedom without right is from manipulation to fraud, thief and become act of rude and angry people.

A strong civilian comes with strong state. A strong civilian can be free. Strong state means knowledgeable, educated, skilled people who speaks at least one foreign language , people who are not a slave of translator, working in a state authority.

A strong state must be for justice. Obviously, statesmen constituting a strong state must be citizens. Citizen means civilized. Although Mongolians became civilized during socialist era, during democracy they became savages and repressed each other more than 1930s. Since 1990 until today, we have been going on with uneducated democracy of uneducated state. Therefore, how to become an educated democracy and build a strong state depends on the people who are paid by the state and represent the state.

Liberty creates human society. The concept freedom, in Latin liberty has history of hundreds of years and Mongolians were able to legitimize their liberty only during socialism. As a result, Mongolians were able to receive hospital service and be healthy, also school classrooms were formed, therefore Mongolians were provided with the possibility to be literate. How can a Mongolian who has been illiterate for many years of history talk about liberty?

Equality is freedom, in which either there is a right or there isn’t. Equality is provided by right, then become equal right. Whereas freedom legitimized by right is liberty by international term.

Freedom isn’t behaving however you want. A man riding horse isn’t free, rather he is just in his own. He has no freedom. Of course, Mongolian man remains in the darkness because nobody explained and defined to him the two concepts of freedom and equality in legal professional level.

Freedom with right means man must be able to live and work independently. To do this, it is important to have full access to education that does not depend on anyone or anything. State has to make sure of it. Hundred years ago, Mongolians never had such freedom. Only during socialism, Mongolians were able to legitimize his right to education.

Today, if Mongolian person wants to study it is not with freedom. This is because student stipends are not enough to allow young people to take care of themselves independently of their parents. Therefore, young people are not free but dependent on others. Even parents do not have the social freedom to make a living on their own. If salary is not enough to live, it means no freedom.

Today Mongolian person needs a strong state to legitimize one’s freedom. Freedom is freedom of choice and freedom of decision. Does a Mongolians have the chance to make his own choice? Does a Mongolian person have the chance to make his own decision? What choice we will talk about, when salary is not enough to make a living. When student stipend isn’t enough, so how can we talk about self-decision?

Countries such as China, Japan, and South Korea were penniless and poor in the beginning of 20th century. But they had two things. First, they had virtue, which are tolerance and persistence, devotion to learn and get education. Second, they had knowledge. This knowledge made them to be able to build their country and made everyone employed. If virtue and knowledge are combined, a country develops. Asian countries themselves always had virtues, whereas especially from Europe, they learned knowledge. For a Mongolian person, there is no virtue; therefore they were caught in myth, tradition and custom. Virtue beyond is missed. When one wants to learn knowledge from Western countries, there is no state regulation, because political parties stopped government’s work. Thus a Mongolian is caught in parties, so he isn’t free.

People talk about liberalism only from political side, not moral liberalism, social liberalism, work liberalism, knowledge and education liberalism. Such extremism looks like stuck and old-fashioned. Few young people are boxed by politicization; through words like “liberalism” it has only one goal, which is the pitiful situation to be played by puppet of political party.

Human freedom is objective of the state, not a personal issue. Being his own is personal will, whereas freedom is social value. Without society and in other words there is no society with government, it is impossible to talk about freedom. Of course, a Mongolians learned about society with government during socialism. Before that, Mongolians never had state.

If we can first define what freedom is, then we can decide whether to protect it by law or to prohibit it by law.

Mongolian man’s freedom to know and education was prohibited, therefore superstition dominated Academy of Science and universities. Common people don’t have money to plan their future, therefore they are scared. Superstitious people play on that fear. Mongolian person still cannot look at the space and be interested in the physics knowledge created by humanity.

A Mongolian person has been kept distant from learning culture, civilization and success of humanity and he has been kept in the dark by some people. All these people make false statements in society and kept the citizens distant from the right to freedom to learn about education and knowledge.

Why is Academy of Science allowing superstitious people and not working against them? Why are so called university professors not giving knowledge and education to students and not fighting against superstition? Why are they even spreading superstitions by advertising old fashioned things like “arga bileg”, or “byasalgal”.
